Ketamine is a safe, well-researched medication used in hospitals for over 50 years. Originally FDA-approved in 1970 as an anesthetic, it is now widely used off-label for PTSD, depression, anxiety, OCD, chronic pain, and more due to its rapid antidepressant effects.
Unlike traditional antidepressants, ketamine works on the glutamate system, promoting neuroplasticity and neurogenesis. This helps the brain become more flexible, break negative thought loops, and reprocess emotional wounds, leading to greater clarity, connection, and emotional freedom.

Ketamine is very safe, but temporary side effects can include dizziness, mild nausea, fatigue (3-4 hours), and a brief increase in blood pressure or heart rate. These effects subside quickly, and medications like propranolol or clonidine can be used if needed.
Psychologically, ketamine may induce an “out-of-body” experience, where patients travel through memories, symbols, or emotions. Some find it mystical and beautiful, while others experience it as unusual but therapeutic—you will always remain in a safe, supervised setting.
Post-session, you may feel tired and reflective. We recommend taking it easy for 6-8 hours and ensuring a responsible adult or rideshare gets you home, as driving is not permitted after treatment.
-
In a medically supervised clinical setting, ketamine has a very low addictive potential. Doses are carefully measured, administered via IM injection, and fully supervised to ensure therapeutic benefits without dependency.
Addiction risks increase with recreational or unregulated use, where ketamine is often taken at high doses, mixed with other substances, and used frequently. This can lead to tolerance, compulsive behaviors, and potential cognitive or bladder issues.

Ketamine comes in two forms: S-Ketamine (Spravato® nasal spray) and R-Ketamine (racemic ketamine). Spravato® has lower absorption (~45-50%), is costly, and is FDA-approved only for treatment-resistant depression.
-
I use R-Ketamine (racemic ketamine), which offers the full therapeutic benefits of both enantiomers. Intramuscular (IM) administration has a much higher absorption rate (~95%), allowing for precise dosing and a more reliable, effective experience. Racemic ketamine is legally used off-label for depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

One session alone isn’t enough for deep, lasting change. Research supports an initial series of six sessions to rewire patterns and process emotions; After that, booster sessions vary—some need monthly treatments, while others space them out every 2-3 months. Unlike many clinics with locked-in packages, I offer a flexible, patient-centered approach based on your unique healing journey.
-
Your ketamine journey is an immersive experience. My clinic is designed for deep relaxation, introspection, and healing—soft eye masks, high-quality headphones, and weighted blankets create a comforting, cocoon-like environment.
Gentle lighting, plush pillows, and a serene setting help you fully surrender to the process. For those who enjoy aromatherapy, subtle scents like palo santo, frankincense, or lavender provide an added layer of grounding. Every detail is intentionally curated to help you feel safe, supported, and open to the experience.

Deep within you lies an inner healing intelligence, guiding you toward growth and transformation—but trauma, anxiety, and depression can cloud this wisdom, keeping you stuck in old patterns.
Ketamine softens mental barriers, quieting overthinking and self-criticism, allowing new perspectives and self-compassion to emerge. True transformation happens through integration therapy, when your brain is most open to change, helping you make sense of insights, process emotions, and apply them in daily life.
